Location: New York, New York, United States

Salary: $115 Per hour

Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Business Intelligence Engineer to join our growing team. As a Business Intelligence Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining data analytics solutions to support our business objectives. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify data needs, develop data models, and deliver insights that drive business decisions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis, data architecture, and business intelligence tools.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their data needs and develop data models that support their requirements.
• Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into our data warehouse.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to provide insights into key business metrics and trends.
• Build and maintain data visualizations to effectively communicate complex data in a user-friendly manner.
• Monitor data quality and troubleshoot data issues to ensure accuracy and completeness of data.
• Stay current with industry trends and best practices in data analytics, data modeling, and business intelligence tools.
• Support data-driven decision making by providing ad-hoc analysis and insights to business stakeholders.
• Collaborate with the data engineering team to optimize data models and improve data processing performance.
• Work with the data security team to ensure data privacy and compliance with data governance policies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or a similar role.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with database systems such as MySQL, SQL Server, or Oracle.
• Experience with ETL tools such as Informatica, Talend, or SSIS.
• Proficient in at least one data visualization tool such as Tableau, Power BI, or QlikView.
• Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts, data modeling, and dimensional data structures.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work with large datasets and complex data structures.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively present insights and recommendations to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience working in an Agile environment and using Agile methodologies.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
