Job Title: Cloud Architect Specialist

Location: New York, New York, United States

Salary: $138 Per hour

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cloud Architect Specialist to join our growing team. As a Cloud Architect Specialist, you will be responsible for designing, planning, and implementing cloud-based solutions for our clients. You will work closely with our clients to understand their business needs and develop customized cloud strategies that align with their goals. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud technologies, excellent communication skills, and a passion for staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in the industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement cloud architectures for our clients, taking into consideration their business needs, budget, and technical requirements
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of cloud solutions with existing systems and applications
• Conduct thorough assessments of clients' current IT infrastructure and identify opportunities for optimization and cost reduction through cloud migration
• Develop and present proposals, roadmaps, and implementation plans to clients, highlighting the benefits and ROI of proposed cloud solutions
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in cloud computing and provide recommendations for their adoption
• Define and enforce security policies and procedures for cloud-based systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations
• Lead and mentor junior team members in the design and implementation of cloud solutions
• Communicate with clients throughout the entire project lifecycle, providing regular updates and addressing any concerns or issues that may arise

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in cloud architecture, with a strong understanding of public, private, and hybrid cloud environments
• Extensive knowledge of cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, and VMware
• Proven track record of designing and implementing complex cloud solutions for enterprise clients
• Strong understanding of networking, security, and data storage principles in a cloud environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• Proven experience in project management and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Certifications in cloud technologies (e.g. AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert) are highly desirable
• Experience with DevOps tools and methodologies is a plus
