Key Responsibilities:

Design and implement security measures to protect our systems and data
Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments
Monitor network traffic for any suspicious activities
Investigate security breaches and provide incident response when necessary
Develop and maintain security policies and procedures
Stay up-to-date with the latest security threats and trends
Conduct security training for employees to raise awareness of potential risks
Collaborate with the IT team to ensure security measures are integrated into all systems and processes
Provide recommendations for security enhancements and upgrades
Manage relationships with external security vendors and partners
Participate in disaster recovery and business continuity planning
Perform regular security testing and provide reports to management
Respond to security incidents and provide timely resolution
Document all security incidents and maintain detailed records

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT security
In-depth knowledge of security protocols and best practices
Experience with security tools such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and vulnerability scanners
Familiarity with security standards and regulations (e.g. ISO 27001, HIPAA, GDPR)
Strong understanding of networking and operating systems
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CEH are a plus
