Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop scalable and high-performance data processing systems using Hadoop, Spark, and other big data technologies.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into technical requirements.
Create and maintain data pipelines, ETL processes, and data integration workflows to ensure the smooth flow of data across various systems.
Optimize data storage and retrieval for efficient use of resources and faster performance.
Develop and implement data quality and validation processes to ensure the accuracy and completeness of data.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data processing and performance.
Stay updated with the latest big data technologies and tools and recommend their implementation to improve data processing capabilities.
Work closely with data scientists and analysts to understand their data needs and provide them with the necessary data sets for analysis.
Develop and maintain documentation for data pipelines, data models, and data dictionaries.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Big Data Developer or a similar role.
Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Scala, or Python.
Experience working with Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, and other big data technologies.
Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, data modeling, and data architecture.
Familiarity with cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
