Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop Hadoop-based applications, including data ingestion, processing, and analysis
Collaborate with data scientists and business analysts to understand business requirements and translate them into Hadoop solutions
Optimize and tune Hadoop applications for performance and scalability
Monitor and troubleshoot Hadoop clusters to ensure high availability and reliability
Develop and maintain documentation for Hadoop-based applications and processes
Work with cross-functional teams to integrate Hadoop applications with other systems and tools
Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in Hadoop and big data technologies

Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
Minimum of 3 years of experience in Hadoop development and administration
Proficient in Hadoop ecosystem components such as HDFS, MapReduce, Hive, Spark, and HBase
Strong programming skills in Java, Scala, or Python
Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases
Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and techniques
Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI is a plus
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Strong communication and teamwork abilities
