Job Title: Hadoop Developer

Salary: $100 Per hour

Job Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Hadoop Developer to join our dynamic team. As a Hadoop Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our Hadoop-based applications. You will also play a crucial role in optimizing our Hadoop infrastructure and ensuring its smooth operation. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Hadoop and other big data technologies, as well as a passion for solving complex problems and delivering high-quality solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Designing and developing Hadoop-based applications, including data ingestion, processing, and analysis
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translating them into technical solutions
• Writing efficient and scalable code to process and analyze large datasets
• Troubleshooting and debugging Hadoop applications to identify and resolve any issues
• Optimizing Hadoop performance by fine-tuning configurations and implementing best practices
• Maintaining and managing Hadoop clusters and infrastructure, including upgrades and patches
• Developing and implementing data security and access controls to ensure the confidentiality and integrity of data
• Creating and maintaining technical documentation for Hadoop applications and processes
• Staying updated with the latest trends and advancements in Hadoop and big data technologies

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Hadoop development
• Proficiency in core Hadoop technologies such as HDFS, MapReduce, Hive, Pig, and Spark
• Experience with Hadoop ecosystem tools like Kafka, Storm, and Flume
• Strong understanding of database concepts and SQL
• Experience with ETL processes and tools
• Knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Python, or Scala
• Familiarity with Linux/Unix operating systems and shell scripting
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Certifications in Hadoop or other big data technologies are a plus
