Position: Data Warehouse Developer

Location: New York, New York, United States

Salary: $100 Per hour

Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Data Warehouse Developer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our data warehouse infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data warehousing principles, as well as experience in ETL processes, SQL programming, and data modeling.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop data warehouse solutions to support business intelligence and reporting needs
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements for data warehouse projects
• Develop and maintain ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into the data warehouse
• Create and maintain data models and schemas to ensure data integrity and optimal performance
• Perform data quality checks and troubleshoot any issues that arise
• Continuously monitor and improve the performance and efficiency of the data warehouse
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in data warehousing and business intelligence
• Train and mentor junior team members on data warehouse development and best practices

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in data warehousing and ETL development
• Strong knowledge of data warehousing principles, methodologies, and best practices
• Proficiency in SQL programming and experience with ETL tools such as Informatica, Talend, or SSIS
• Experience with data modeling techniques and tools, such as ER/Studio or ERwin
• Familiarity with cloud-based data warehousing solutions, such as Amazon Redshift or Snowflake
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Strong attention to detail and ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
• Experience working in an Agile development environment is a plus
