Salary: $114000 - $136000
About the Role: Lobox is seeking a talented and driven Junior Data Scientist to join our growing team. As a Junior Data Scientist, you will work closely with our senior data scientists to analyze large datasets and provide valuable insights to help drive business decisions. You will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects and gain hands-on experience in the field of data science.
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize programming languages such as Python, R, and SQL to clean, manipulate, and analyze large datasets
- Collaborate with senior data scientists to develop and implement data models and algorithms
- Communicate findings and insights to various stakeholders in a clear and concise manner
- Assist in the development and maintenance of data pipelines and databases
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in data science techniques
- Work on ad-hoc data analysis projects as assigned
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics or a related field
- 1-2 years of experience in a data science or analytics role
- Proficient in programming languages such as Python, R, and SQL
- Experience in data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI is a plus
- Knowledge of machine learning techniques and algorithms is preferred
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
