Position: Lead Data Scientist

Location: New York, New York, United States

Salary: $138 Per hour

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Lead Data Scientist to join our team. As a Lead Data Scientist, you will be responsible for managing a team of data scientists and driving the development and implementation of data-driven solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a team of data scientists, providing guidance, mentorship, and support in their day-to-day tasks
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business problems and develop data-driven solutions
• Utilize advanced statistical and predictive modeling techniques to analyze large, complex datasets and provide insights to drive business decisions
• Develop and maintain data pipelines and data infrastructure to ensure efficient and accurate data analysis
• Design and implement experiments to test hypotheses and measure the effectiveness of data-driven solutions
• Communicate complex findings and technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and concise manner
• Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in data science and identify opportunities for improvement in our current processes and methodologies
• Drive the adoption of data-driven decision making across the organization through training and knowledge sharing initiatives

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years experience in a data science role, with at least 2 years in a leadership or managerial position
• Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL
• Extensive experience with machine learning techniques and tools, such as scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch
• Proven track record of delivering data-driven solutions that have had a significant impact on business outcomes
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team of data scientists
• Ability to think strategically and identify opportunities for improvement in data science processes and methodologies
• A passion for data and a deep understanding of its power to drive business growth and innovation
