Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement secure software development and deployment processes, utilizing DevOps and Agile methodologies
Develop and maintain automated security processes and tools, including vulnerability scanning, code analysis, and penetration testing
Monitor and respond to security incidents, conducting investigations and implementing remediation strategies
Work with development teams to ensure secure coding practices and perform code reviews to identify and address security vulnerabilities
Conduct risk assessments and implement appropriate controls to protect sensitive data and systems
Stay current with industry trends and best practices in software development and security, and make recommendations for improvements to our processes and tools
Implement and maintain security policies and procedures, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards
Continuously monitor and improve system performance, availability, and scalability
Participate in on-call rotations and provide support during off-hours as needed

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
3+ years of experience in software development and/or security engineering
Strong understanding of DevOps and Agile methodologies
Experience with automation and configuration management tools such as Ansible, Chef, or Puppet
Knowledge of cloud computing platforms, such as AWS or Azure, and containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes
Familiarity with security tools and technologies, such as intrusion detection/prevention systems, firewalls, and SIEMs
Experience with scripting languages and source code management tools, such as Python, Bash, and Git
Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or other relevant certifications a plus
