Key Responsibilities:

Design and implement complex system architectures to support the company's technology infrastructure
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement solutions to improve the performance, reliability, and security of our systems
Monitor and maintain system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability of all systems
Develop and maintain system documentation, including system configurations, processes, and procedures
Upgrade and migrate existing systems to new technologies to enhance performance and scalability
Conduct system reviews and provide recommendations for improvements to optimize system performance
Plan and execute disaster recovery and business continuity measures to minimize system downtime
Stay current with industry trends and new technologies to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation within the company's systems
Mentor and guide junior system engineers in best practices and technical knowledge

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a System Engineer in a complex enterprise environment
Strong experience in designing and implementing complex system architectures
Extensive knowledge of Linux and/or Windows operating systems and virtualization technologies
Hands-on experience with cloud technologies, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
In-depth understanding of networking concepts and protocols
Experience with automation tools, such as Ansible, Chef, or Puppet
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues
Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously
Relevant certifications, such as Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE) or Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE), are a plus
