Position: Senior Java Developer

Location: New York, New York, United States

Salary: $107 Per hour

Job Summary: Our company is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Java Developer to join our dynamic team. As a Senior Java Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining complex Java-based applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and provide technical expertise to deliver high-quality solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Java development, excellent problem-solving skills, and a passion for staying updated with the latest technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop software applications using Java programming language
• Collaborate with project managers, business analysts, and other technical teams to gather and analyze project requirements
• Provide technical guidance and expertise to junior developers
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues
• Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to coding standards
• Stay updated with the latest technologies, tools, and frameworks in the Java ecosystem
• Continuously improve the performance, scalability, and maintainability of existing applications
• Work in an Agile development environment and actively participate in Scrum meetings

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Java development
• Proven experience in developing and maintaining complex Java-based applications
• Strong knowledge of core Java concepts such as multithreading, collections, and generics
• Proficiency in Spring Framework, Hibernate, and other Java frameworks
• Experience with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with microservices architecture and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Knowledge of database concepts and SQL
• Familiarity with cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
• Experience with DevOps tools such as Jenkins, Git, and Ansible
• Certifications in Java development or related fields
