Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with the VFX supervisor and other team members to understand and execute the creative brief for each project
Assess and organize live-action footage and 3D assets to determine the best approach for compositing
Utilize industry-standard software such as Nuke, After Effects, and Photoshop to create high-quality composites
Integrate 3D elements into live-action footage, ensuring seamless integration and realistic lighting and shadows
Apply color correction and grading techniques to achieve the desired look and feel for each shot
Use creative problem-solving skills to overcome technical challenges and deliver high-quality work within tight deadlines
Continuously stay updated on industry trends and techniques to enhance and improve the quality of work produced
Collaborate with other departments such as animation, lighting, and matte painting to ensure consistency and cohesion within the final image
Contribute to the development and improvement of compositing techniques and workflows within the team

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Animation, Visual Effects, or related field
Minimum of 3 years of experience as a 3D Compositor in a VFX studio or animation production environment
Strong understanding of composition, color theory, and visual effects techniques
Proficiency in industry-standard software such as Nuke, After Effects, and Photoshop
Experience with CG integration, green screen, and tracking techniques
Solid understanding of 3D software such as Maya, 3ds Max, or Houdini
Excellent eye for detail and ability to deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment
Excellent communication and time management skills
A passion for visual effects and a desire to continuously learn and improve
