Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain databases for various applications, including data storage, retrieval, and processing
Create and implement data models to support predictive modeling and machine learning algorithms
Collaborate with data scientists and software engineers to incorporate AI algorithms into database systems
Monitor and improve database performance and efficiency through data optimization and query tuning
Troubleshoot and resolve database issues and errors in a timely manner
Ensure data security and integrity through proper backup and recovery procedures
Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in AI and database technologies, and make recommendations for their implementation in our systems
Train and mentor junior database engineers on database design and maintenance best practices
Contribute to the development and maintenance of company-wide data governance policies and procedures

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
Minimum of 3 years of experience in database management, with a focus on AI and machine learning applications
Strong understanding of relational database design and SQL programming
Experience with data modeling and integrating AI algorithms into database systems
Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++
Familiarity with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, or NoSQL databases
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
