Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Visualizations Lead to join our dynamic team. As the Data Visualizations Lead, you will be responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and implementing data visualizations that effectively communicate complex information to a wide range of stakeholders. You will play a crucial role in driving data-driven decision making and insight generation across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and develop visualizations that effectively communicate insights and key findings
• Utilize a variety of data visualization tools and techniques to create dynamic and interactive dashboards and reports
• Develop and maintain a library of standardized data visualizations and templates for easy access and use by team members
• Stay up-to-date with the latest data visualization trends and best practices, and continuously improve the quality and effectiveness of our visualizations
• Train and mentor team members on data visualization techniques and best practices
• Act as a subject matter expert on data visualization, providing guidance and recommendations to stakeholders on how to effectively present data
• Work closely with data analysts and scientists to ensure visualizations accurately reflect the underlying data and insights
• Participate in data storytelling and presentation of visualizations to stakeholders, providing context and insights to aid in decision making
• Lead the development of data visualization standards and guidelines to ensure consistency and accuracy across the organization
• Identify opportunities for automation and optimization of data visualization processes

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in data visualization, with a proven track record of designing and implementing effective visualizations
• Proficient in data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, and QlikView
• Strong understanding of data visualization best practices, including color theory, layout, and design principles
• Advanced knowledge of SQL and data manipulation
• Experience with data storytelling and presenting insights to stakeholders
• Experience with data visualization in a business setting, preferably in a leadership role
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
• Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously
• Passion for data and the ability to translate complex data into compelling visual stories
• Experience with programming languages such as Python or R is a plus
