Job Title: IT Infrastructure Engineer

Location: New York, New York, United States

Salary: $100 Per hour

Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure Engineer to join our dynamic and growing team. As an IT Infrastructure Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of our company's IT infrastructure. You will work closely with other members of the IT team to ensure the reliability, security, and efficiency of our systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of networking, server administration, and cloud computing technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement network infrastructure to support business operations
• Monitor and maintain network performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions
• Manage and maintain server infrastructure, including physical and virtual servers
• Ensure security and compliance of all servers and network devices
• Monitor and maintain backups and disaster recovery plans
• Manage and maintain cloud computing infrastructure, including AWS and Azure
• Collaborate with the IT team to develop and implement IT policies and procedures
• Evaluate and implement new technologies to improve system performance and reliability
• Provide technical support to end users and assist with troubleshooting of hardware and software issues
• Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours support and maintenance
• Document system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides
• Continuously monitor and evaluate system performance and make recommendations for improvements
• Keep up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in IT infrastructure and security

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT infrastructure engineering or a similar role
• Strong understanding of networking concepts and protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN
• Experience with server administration and virtualization technologies, such as VMware or Hyper-V
• Familiarity with cloud computing services, such as AWS or Azure
• Experience with security and compliance standards, such as PCI DSS and HIPAA
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes
• Certifications such as CCNA, MCSA, or VMware VCP are a plus
