Position: JS Developer
Location: New York, New York, United States
Salary: $97 Per hour
Employment Type: Contract
About the Role: We are seeking an experienced JS Developer to join our dynamic and growing team. As a JS Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining our company's front-end web applications. You will work closely with our design and back-end development teams to create engaging and user-friendly interfaces.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain front-end web applications using JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
- Collaborate with the design team to ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
- Work closely with back-end developers to integrate front-end components with server-side logic
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability
- Implement responsive design principles to ensure cross-browser compatibility
- Conduct thorough testing and debugging of web applications
- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in front-end development
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely manner
- Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and ensure best practices are followed
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a JS Developer or a similar role
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
- Experience with front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js
- Knowledge of server-side CSS pre-processing platforms, such as LESS and SASS
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and AJAX
- Understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them
- Experience with code versioning tools such as Git
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and collaborative environment
- Strong attention to detail and a passion for writing clean and maintainable code
