Job Description: We are currently seeking a passionate and driven Junior Hadoop Developer to join our dynamic team. As a Junior Hadoop Developer, you will play a crucial role in the development and maintenance of our Hadoop-based applications and systems. You will work closely with senior developers and data engineers to ensure the successful implementation and optimization of our Hadoop platform.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain Hadoop-based applications and systems
• Collaborate with senior developers and data engineers to implement and optimize Hadoop solutions
• Troubleshoot and debug any issues that arise in the Hadoop environment
• Develop and maintain ETL processes to integrate data from various sources into the Hadoop platform
• Write complex MapReduce programs to process large datasets
• Monitor and manage Hadoop cluster performance, capacity, and security
• Conduct performance tuning and optimization to ensure efficient data processing
• Work with data analysts to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• Keep up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in Hadoop technology

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 1-2 years of experience in Hadoop development and administration
• Strong knowledge of Hadoop ecosystem and its components (HDFS, MapReduce, Hive, Pig, etc.)
• Experience with programming languages such as Java, Python, or Scala
• Proficiency in SQL and database management
• Familiarity with ETL processes and tools (e.g. Informatica, Talend)
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g. AWS, Azure) is a plus
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
• Passion for learning and staying up-to-date with new technologies and tools
