Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead API Developer to join our dynamic team. As the Lead API Developer, you will be responsible for leading the development and maintenance of our API platform, ensuring its effectiveness, scalability, and security. You will lead a team of API developers and work closely with other cross-functional teams to deliver top-notch API solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, development, testing, implementation, and maintenance of our API platform.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Identify and resolve any technical issues or bugs in a timely manner.
• Conduct regular code reviews, provide feedback, and ensure coding standards are met.
• Mentor and guide junior developers, providing technical guidance and support.
• Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in API development, and implement them in our API platform.
• Develop and maintain documentation for APIs, including API guides, usage examples, and troubleshooting guides.
• Ensure the API platform is secure and compliant with industry standards.
• Communicate effectively with team members, stakeholders, and clients to provide updates and address any concerns.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in API development, with at least 2 years in a lead role.
• Strong knowledge of API architecture and design principles.
• Extensive experience with API development tools and technologies such as REST, SOAP, JSON, XML, etc.
• Proficient in programming languages such as Java, Python, or Node.js.
• Experience with API management platforms like Apigee, Mulesoft, or AWS API Gateway.
• Familiarity with DevOps and CI/CD processes.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
