Salary: $190000 - $224000

Overview: We are seeking an experienced Oracle Developer Lead to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Oracle development and experience in leading a team of developers. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Oracle-based applications while ensuring the team meets project deadlines and delivers high-quality solutions. As a lead, you will also be expected to mentor and guide junior developers, assist in project planning, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop complex Oracle-based applications, including data models, database objects, and SQL queries
• Lead a team of developers by providing technical guidance, reviewing code, and conducting code reviews
• Collaborate with business analysts and project managers to understand project requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• Develop and maintain project timelines, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality solutions
• Mentor and train junior developers, promoting a culture of continuous learning and development
• Stay updated on new technologies and industry trends related to Oracle development and provide recommendations for process improvements
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve technical issues and ensure seamless integration of systems and applications
• Ensure all development activities follow best practices and adhere to company standards and guidelines
• Participate in project planning and estimation, providing technical expertise and insights
• Conduct performance tuning and optimization of Oracle-based applications to improve overall system performance
• Communicate project progress, issues, and risks to project stakeholders in a timely and effective manner

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Oracle development, including PL/SQL, SQL, and database design
• Proven experience in leading a team of developers
• In-depth knowledge of Oracle database concepts and architecture
• Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies
• Experience with performance tuning and optimization of Oracle-based applications
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and collaborative environment
• Oracle certifications (e.g. Oracle Certified Professional) are a plus
