Job Title: Principal CAD Designer

Salary: $124 Per hour

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal CAD Designer to join our dynamic and innovative design team. As the Principal CAD Designer, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing cutting-edge designs for our company's products. You will be responsible for leading a team of CAD designers and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful execution of design projects. Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and implementation of CAD design projects from concept to completion
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and develop design solutions
• Manage a team of CAD designers, providing guidance, training, and mentorship to ensure the team's success
• Utilize industry-leading software and tools to create detailed and accurate 3D CAD models and drawings
• Conduct thorough design reviews, identifying and addressing any issues to ensure the highest quality of designs
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in CAD design technology to continuously improve our design processes
• Develop and maintain design standards and best practices to ensure consistency across all projects
• Communicate with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure accurate and timely production of designs
• Act as a subject matter expert in CAD design, providing guidance and support to other team members as needed

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field
• 10+ years of experience in CAD design, with at least 5 years in a leadership or managerial role
• Extensive experience with CAD software, such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or CATIA
• Strong understanding of design principles, materials, and manufacturing processes
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively to develop innovative design solutions
• Proven leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team to achieve project goals
• Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to produce accurate and high-quality designs
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
• A strong portfolio showcasing your CAD design experience and accomplishments
• Experience in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment is preferred.
