Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop database architecture strategies for our organization, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Create data models and database designs to support the development of new applications and enhancements to existing systems.
Develop and maintain database standards, procedures, and best practices.
Conduct regular database performance tuning and optimization to ensure system efficiency.
Troubleshoot and resolve database issues in a timely manner.
Ensure data security and integrity by implementing appropriate backup, recovery, and disaster recovery plans.
Stay up-to-date with the latest database technologies and trends, and make recommendations for their integration into our systems.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
Minimum of 7 years of experience as a Database Architect or in a similar role.
Extensive experience in database design, development, and administration.
Strong proficiency in SQL and database programming languages.
Experience with data modeling tools and techniques.
Knowledge of database security and backup/recovery strategies.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
