Position: Snowflake Admin

About the role: We are seeking a highly skilled Snowflake Admin to join our dynamic team. As a Snowflake Admin, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our Snowflake data warehouse environment. You will work closely with our data engineering and analytics teams to ensure a reliable and efficient data platform for our business operations. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual with a strong background in database administration and a passion for data management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain the Snowflake data warehouse environment, including user access, security, and performance tuning.
• Monitor data loads and ETL processes to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to the Snowflake data warehouse.
• Collaborate with data engineering and analytics teams to design and implement data models and schemas.
• Develop and maintain data governance policies and procedures to ensure data quality and compliance.
• Implement and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest Snowflake features and best practices to continuously improve our data warehouse environment.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Snowflake Admin or in a similar role.
• In-depth knowledge of Snowflake architecture and best practices.
• Strong understanding of database administration, including user access management, security, and performance tuning.
• Experience with ETL processes and data modeling.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Snowflake certifications are a plus.
