Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop SQL Server databases to support our business needs
Optimize database performance by creating efficient queries, indexes, and stored procedures
Monitor database systems and identify and resolve any issues or bottlenecks
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and design data models
Develop and maintain data migration processes to ensure smooth data flow between systems
Create and maintain documentation related to database design, data models, and processes
Conduct regular backups and disaster recovery procedures to ensure data integrity and availability
Identify and implement database security measures to protect sensitive data
Stay updated with the latest database technologies and make recommendations for improvements to our systems

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a SQL Server Database Engineer or a similar role
Strong proficiency in SQL, T-SQL, and database design principles
Experience with database performance tuning and optimization techniques
Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and tools
Familiarity with database security best practices
Experience with ETL processes and tools such as SSIS
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Strong communication and collaboration skills
