Position: SQL Server Engineer

Salary: $92 Per hour

Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled SQL Server Engineer to join our dynamic and growing team. As a SQL Server Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of our SQL Server databases. You will work closely with our software development team to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of our applications. Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain SQL Server databases
• Collaborate with software development team to ensure database compatibility and performance
• Optimize database performance by monitoring and tuning queries
• Troubleshoot and resolve database issues in a timely manner
• Develop and maintain documentation for database processes and procedures
• Implement and maintain database security measures
• Participate in database capacity planning and growth projections
• Continuously improve database infrastructure and processes
• Keep up-to-date with the latest SQL Server technologies and trends
• Provide technical support and guidance to other team members as needed

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience working with SQL Server databases
• Strong understanding of database design and development principles
• Proficient in SQL and T-SQL
• Experience with database administration and performance tuning
• Knowledge of database security and backup and recovery procedures
• Familiarity with ETL processes and tools
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and constantly evolving environment

Preferred Qualifications:

• Microsoft SQL Server certification
• Experience with other database systems such as MySQL or Oracle
• Knowledge of cloud-based database solutions such as Azure SQL Database or Amazon RDS
• Experience with data warehousing and business intelligence concepts
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
