Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sybase Developer to join our dynamic team. As a Sybase Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Sybase databases and applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into efficient and scalable database solutions. The ideal candidate has a strong background in Sybase database development and a passion for problem-solving and innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain Sybase databases and applications
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into efficient database solutions
• Identify and troubleshoot database issues and performance bottlenecks
• Develop and implement database best practices and standards
• Optimize database performance and scalability
• Create and maintain technical documentation
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends
• Continuously improve and enhance existing database systems
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum of years of experience as a Sybase Developer or similar role
• Strong proficiency in Sybase database development, including stored procedures, triggers, and indexes
• Experience with database design and optimization
• Familiarity with Sybase Replication Server and High Availability (HA) solutions
• Knowledge of SQL, T-SQL, and PL/SQL
• Experience with ETL tools and techniques
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work
