Key Responsibilities:

Install, configure, and upgrade Oracle database software and related products.
Monitor and maintain the performance, security, and integrity of the Oracle database systems.
Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to database systems, including backup and recovery, data corruption, and user access.
Develop and implement database backup and recovery procedures to ensure data availability and disaster recovery.
Collaborate with other IT teams to integrate new applications with the Oracle database systems.
Proactively monitor database systems to identify and resolve any potential issues before they impact business operations.
Perform database tuning and optimization to improve performance and efficiency.
Create and maintain documentation related to database systems, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting procedures.
Keep up-to-date with the latest Oracle database technologies and best practices.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Oracle database administrator.
Strong knowledge of Oracle database administration, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
Proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL.
Experience with database performance tuning and optimization.
Knowledge of database backup and recovery techniques.
Familiarity with Oracle database security and user management.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Oracle database certification is a plus.
