Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop mechanical systems, components, and equipment for various projects
Conduct research and analyze data to develop and improve existing mechanical systems
Create detailed drawings and specifications for mechanical components and systems
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success and timely completion
Perform simulations and tests to evaluate the performance and reliability of mechanical systems
Identify and troubleshoot technical issues and provide effective solutions
Create and maintain documentation for all design and development processes
Stay updated with industry trends and advancements to incorporate into designs
Ensure all designs meet safety and regulatory standards
Manage and maintain project budgets and timelines
Mentor and guide junior engineers as needed

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
years of experience in mechanical engineering
Proficient in CAD software and other relevant design tools
Strong understanding of mechanical principles and systems
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong project management skills
Knowledge of safety and regulatory standards
Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred
