Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop and maintain database systems that are efficient, secure, and scalable to support our company's operations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, identify data needs, and implement solutions that meet business needs.
Develop and maintain stored procedures, functions, and triggers to support data manipulation and retrieval.
Optimize database performance by conducting regular monitoring, troubleshooting, and tuning activities.
Implement data security measures to protect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our company's data.
Create and maintain documentation of database systems, architecture, and procedures.
Conduct research and stay updated on emerging database technologies and trends to continuously improve our systems.
Provide support and guidance to junior developers and team members on database-related issues and best practices.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in database development, management, and administration.
Proficiency in SQL and server programming languages such as T-SQL, PL/SQL, or similar.
Experience with database design and data modeling.
Strong understanding of database security concepts and best practices.
Proven ability to optimize database performance and conduct troubleshooting and tuning activities.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Effective communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
