Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and implement scalable and efficient data pipelines to process large and complex data sets using cutting-edge technologies
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and translate them into technical requirements
Analyze and optimize data warehouse infrastructure, ensuring high performance and reliability
Develop and maintain data models, data dictionaries, and data quality standards
Monitor and troubleshoot data pipeline issues, ensuring timely resolution
Work closely with data scientists and analysts to provide them with clean and accurate data for analysis and reporting
Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in big data technologies, and make recommendations for continuous improvement of our data systems
Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior team members
Document technical processes and procedures for future reference

Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field
years of experience in developing and maintaining big data systems
Strong programming skills in languages like Java, Python, or Scala
In-depth knowledge of big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, Hive, etc.
Experience with cloud-based data platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP
Proficient in SQL and data modeling
Familiarity with ETL tools and data integration techniques
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
Prior experience in a leadership or mentoring role is a plus
