Job Title: Junior Natural Language Processing Engineer

Location: New York, New York, United States

Salary: $97 Per hour

About the Role: We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Junior Natural Language Processing Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Junior Natural Language Processing Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing NLP solutions to help our company gain valuable insights from large volumes of unstructured data.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the NLP team to understand business requirements and develop NLP solutions to meet those needs
• Design and implement NLP algorithms and models to extract information from unstructured data such as text, audio, and video
• Develop and maintain NLP pipelines to process and analyze large datasets
• Conduct data preprocessing, cleaning, and feature engineering to improve the performance of NLP models
• Perform thorough testing and debugging to ensure the accuracy and efficiency of NLP solutions
• Keep up-to-date with the latest NLP techniques and technologies and implement them in projects when applicable
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate NLP solutions into various applications and systems
• Communicate technical concepts and provide insights to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and concise manner
• Document and present project progress and results to the NLP team and management

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Natural Language Processing, or a related field
• Strong understanding of NLP concepts, techniques, and algorithms
• Hands-on experience with NLP libraries and frameworks such as NLTK, spaCy, or Gensim
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++
• Familiarity with machine learning techniques and frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch
• Experience with data preprocessing and feature engineering techniques
• Knowledge of database systems and SQL
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities
• Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as in a team environment
• Knowledge of Agile software development methodologies is a plus
