Key Responsibilities:

Design, implement, and maintain our cloud infrastructure, including serverless architecture, containers, and microservices.
Develop and maintain automation tools and processes for deploying and managing cloud resources.
Monitor and optimize the performance, availability, and cost of our cloud-based systems.
Collaborate with the development team to ensure our applications are designed for the cloud and follow best practices.
Work with the operations team to implement and maintain security controls and compliance standards.
Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to our cloud infrastructure and services.
Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in cloud computing and make recommendations for improvement.
Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior cloud engineers.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in cloud engineering, preferably in a senior or lead role.
Strong knowledge of cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM templates.
Proficiency in scripting and automation using languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
In-depth understanding of networking, security, and database concepts in a cloud environment.
Familiarity with agile software development methodologies.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect, or Google Professional Cloud Architect are a plus.
