Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage a team of data scientists, providing guidance, coaching, and performance evaluations
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and priorities, and develop data science projects to address them
Oversee the entire data science project lifecycle, from data gathering and cleaning to model development and deployment
Utilize statistical and machine learning techniques to analyze complex data sets and generate insights that drive business decisions
Develop and maintain a suite of predictive models to support decision-making and improve business outcomes
Communicate findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders through visualizations, presentations, and reports
Stay up-to-date with the latest data science techniques and tools, and identify opportunities to incorporate them into the team's work
Develop and implement best practices for data management, data quality, and model validation to ensure accuracy and reliability of results
Manage and maintain data infrastructure, including databases, data warehouses, and data pipelines
Collaborate with IT and other teams to ensure data security and compliance with relevant regulations and policies

Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience in data science, with at least 2 years in a management or leadership role
Strong experience with data manipulation and analysis using SQL, Python, R, or other programming languages
Proficiency in machine learning techniques such as regression, classification, clustering, and time series forecasting
Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or D3.js
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines
Proven track record of delivering data-driven solutions that have had a significant impact on business outcomes
Experience with cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is a plus
Knowledge of big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, or Kafka is a plus
Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and inspire a team to achieve their goals
Passion for data and a curiosity to explore new data sources and techniques to drive innovation and continuous improvement
