Position: Network Engineer

Location: New York, New York, United States

Salary: $97 Per hour

Overview: Lobox is seeking a talented and experienced Network Engineer to join our growing team. As a Network Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing and maintaining our company's network infrastructure. You will work closely with our IT team to ensure a secure and efficient network that meets the needs of our organization. Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement and maintain network infrastructure including switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless access points.
• Monitor and troubleshoot network performance, identify and resolve network issues.
• Ensure network security by implementing and maintaining firewalls, VPN, and other security measures.
• Work closely with the IT team to design and implement network solutions that meet the needs of the organization.
• Evaluate and recommend new technologies to improve network performance and security.
• Create and maintain network documentation and diagrams.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support and implement network-related projects.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for network-related issues.
• Participate in disaster recovery planning and testing.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in networking technologies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Network Engineer.
• In-depth knowledge of networking protocols and technologies such as TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, MPLS, VLAN, and VPN.
• Hands-on experience with network equipment including switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless access points.
• Strong understanding of network security principles and best practices.
• Experience with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or CCIE are preferred.
