Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement database strategies to support the company's objectives
Design, maintain, and optimize databases to ensure data integrity and system performance
Identify and resolve database issues, including data corruption and performance bottlenecks
Develop and enforce data management policies and procedures to maintain data accuracy and security
Monitor and maintain database backups and disaster recovery plans to ensure data availability
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand and analyze data requirements for new projects and initiatives
Conduct regular data audits to identify and rectify any data inconsistencies or errors
Train and support end-users on database systems and procedures
Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in database technology to continuously improve processes and systems

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience in database management, with a strong understanding of database structures, theories, principles, and practices
Proficiency in SQL and other database query languages
Experience with database administration tools, such as Oracle, MySQL, or Microsoft SQL Server
Familiarity with data security and privacy regulations, such as GDPR and HIPAA
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with various stakeholders
Ability to work efficiently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Prior experience in project management is a plus
