Position: Software Tester
Location: New York, New York, United States
Salary: $60 Per hour
Job Description: We are currently seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Software Tester to join our team. As a Software Tester, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of our software products. Your primary responsibility will be to identify and report any bugs or issues in our software, and work closely with our development team to address and resolve them.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough testing of our software products to identify any bugs, defects, or issues
- Create and execute test cases and test plans to ensure comprehensive coverage of all features and functionalities
- Record and document test results and report any issues to the development team
- Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot and resolve issues, and retest to ensure successful resolution
- Continuously monitor and evaluate the quality of our software products, and provide recommendations for improvement
- Stay updated with industry best practices and emerging technologies in software testing, and implement them in our testing processes
- Work in a fast-paced, agile environment, and handle multiple projects and tasks simultaneously
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in software testing or quality assurance
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes
- Experience with test management and defect tracking tools
- Familiarity with programming languages and technologies such as Java, C++, and SQL
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
