Job Title: Site Reliability Lead

Location: New York, New York, United States

Salary: $123 Per hour

About the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Reliability Lead to join our dynamic team. As the Site Reliability Lead, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability, availability, and performance of our company's products and services. You will be responsible for leading a team of engineers and collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, build, and maintain our production infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of Site Reliability Engineers to ensure reliable and scalable systems
• Develop and implement processes and procedures to improve system reliability and availability
• Monitor and analyze system metrics to identify and proactively address potential issues
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, build, and maintain production infrastructure
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in a timely manner
• Manage and prioritize tasks and projects for the Site Reliability team
• Mentor and coach team members to promote their professional growth and development
• Continuously evaluate and improve upon existing systems and processes
• Communicate and collaborate with stakeholders to provide regular updates on system performance and reliability

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Site Reliability role
• Experience leading and managing a team of engineers
• Proficient in scripting and automation languages such as Python, Bash, and Perl
• Strong knowledge of cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Experience with configuration management tools such as Puppet, Chef, or Ansible
• In-depth understanding of networking, storage, and virtualization technologies
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Experience with agile methodologies and DevOps practices is a plus
