About the Role: We are seeking an experienced Information Architect to join our dynamic team. As an Information Architect, you will be responsible for designing and implementing a cohesive and intuitive information architecture for our company's digital platforms. Your primary goal will be to ensure that our users can easily find and access the information they need, resulting in a positive user experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough research and analysis of user needs and behavior to inform the information architecture design.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including designers, developers, and content creators to develop a comprehensive information architecture strategy.
- Develop and maintain a taxonomy and metadata framework to organize and classify information.
- Design user flows and wireframes to illustrate the information architecture and user experience.
- Conduct usability testing and gather feedback to continually improve and refine the information architecture.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in information architecture and user experience design.
- Train and educate team members on information architecture principles and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Science, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in information architecture design.
- Strong knowledge of user research methods and usability testing.
- Proficient in wireframing and prototyping tools such as Axure, Sketch, or Adobe XD.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Knowledge of web accessibility guidelines and best practices.
- Experience with content management systems and information management tools.
- Proven track record of designing successful information architectures for complex digital platforms.
