Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Data Operations Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Data Operations Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of our data infrastructure and systems. You will work closely with our data scientists, analysts, and engineers to ensure the smooth operation of our data pipelines and the accuracy and integrity of our data. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data management, database administration, and programming, along with a passion for solving complex problems and driving innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain data pipelines and systems to support data collection, processing, and analysis.
• Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines and systems to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and availability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement data solutions to support business needs.
• Develop and maintain data models, schemas, and standards to ensure consistency and scalability.
• Perform data quality checks and implement data governance processes to maintain data integrity.
• Optimize database performance and ensure data security and compliance.
• Identify and assess new data technologies and tools to improve data operations and processes.
• Document data workflows, processes, and procedures to enable knowledge sharing and team collaboration.
• Provide technical support and guidance to data analysts and data scientists.
• Continuously evaluate and improve data operations processes and procedures to increase efficiency and effectiveness.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in data management, database administration, or a related role.
• Strong programming skills in SQL, Python, or other scripting languages.
• Experience with data warehousing, ETL processes, and data modeling.
• In-depth knowledge of database management systems and data management best practices.
• Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms, such as AWS or Azure.
• Proven experience in troubleshooting and debugging data pipelines and systems.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
