Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop performance test scenarios based on business requirements and performance testing best practices
Execute performance tests using industry-standard tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, or Gatling
Analyze test results and identify performance issues and bottlenecks
Work closely with the development team to troubleshoot and resolve performance issues
Develop and maintain performance testing scripts and test data
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement performance testing strategies and methodologies
Provide recommendations for performance optimization and scalability improvements
Continuously monitor and analyze system performance during load tests and provide real-time updates to the development team
Develop and maintain performance testing documentation and reports
Stay updated on the latest performance testing tools, methodologies, and best practices
Mentor and coach junior performance test engineers

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience in performance testing
Strong experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, or Gatling
In-depth knowledge of performance testing methodologies and best practices
Experience with performance testing web, mobile, and API-based applications
Solid understanding of SQL and database performance tuning
Hands-on experience with scripting languages such as Java, JavaScript, or Python
Proven experience in troubleshooting and resolving performance issues
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
Experience in financial services or related industry is a plus
