Job Description: We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Junior Penetration Tester to join our team. As a Junior Penetration Tester, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive security assessments to identify vulnerabilities and potential threats in our clients' systems. You will work closely with our senior penetration testers and collaborate with other team members to deliver high-quality results to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct network and web application penetration testing to identify vulnerabilities and potential entry points for cyber attacks
• Analyze and interpret test results to provide detailed reports that clearly outline the identified risks and recommended remediation measures
• Collaborate with senior penetration testers to develop and execute detailed test plans that cover all aspects of the clients' systems
• Utilize a variety of tools and techniques to simulate real-world attacks and assess the effectiveness of security controls
• Stay up-to-date with the latest cyber threats and vulnerabilities to continuously improve our testing methodologies and techniques
• Provide support to clients during the remediation process and assist in implementing recommended security measures
• Communicate with clients in a professional and timely manner to address any questions or concerns related to the testing process and results
• Contribute to the development of new tools and processes to enhance our penetration testing capabilities
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development activities to expand your knowledge and skills in the field of cybersecurity

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• 1-2 years of experience in penetration testing or a related field
• Knowledge of network and web application security testing methodologies and tools such as Nmap, Metasploit, Burp Suite, etc.
• Familiarity with common operating systems, programming languages, and databases
• Understanding of common security vulnerabilities and how to exploit them
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Passion for cybersecurity and a desire to continuously learn and improve
