Job Title: Principal Penetration Tester

Location: New York, New York, United States

Salary: $138 Per hour

Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Penetration Tester to join our dynamic and innovative team. As a Principal Penetration Tester, you will play a crucial role in protecting our company's sensitive information and ensuring the security of our systems. You will be responsible for conducting thorough and comprehensive penetration testing to identify vulnerabilities and potential risks in our network, applications, and infrastructure. Your expertise will be critical in mitigating potential cyber threats and ensuring the overall security of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct in-depth and advanced penetration testing on our network, systems, and applications to identify vulnerabilities and potential risks
• Develop and implement penetration testing methodologies and procedures
• Utilize various tools and techniques to perform thorough vulnerability assessments and penetration tests
• Analyze and interpret vulnerability scan results and provide detailed reports on findings
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement remediation plans for identified vulnerabilities
• Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends, tools, and techniques in the industry
• Train and mentor junior team members on penetration testing techniques and best practices
• Provide expert guidance and recommendations to improve the overall security posture of the organization
• Participate in incident response and forensics investigations as needed
• Communicate findings and recommendations to senior management and other stakeholders
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations related to information security

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in penetration testing or information security
• Proven experience in conducting advanced penetration testing on various systems and applications
• Strong knowledge of penetration testing tools and techniques, such as Metasploit, Nmap, Burp Suite, etc.
• Familiarity with industry regulations and standards, such as PCI DSS, GDPR, ISO 27001, etc.
• Solid understanding of networking protocols, operating systems, and web applications
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Relevant certifications, such as OSCP, CEH, GIAC, etc. will be a plus
