About the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Architect to join our growing team. As a Security Architect, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our company's security systems and processes to protect our organization from potential threats. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cybersecurity, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure the protection of our organization's assets and data.
• Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify potential vulnerabilities and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement secure systems and networks.
• Keep up-to-date with the latest security trends, technologies, and best practices to continuously improve our organization's security posture.
• Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans to ensure the organization's ability to respond to potential cyber threats.
• Lead incident response activities and conduct root cause analysis to prevent future security breaches.
• Oversee the security operations center (SOC) and manage a team of security analysts.
• Provide guidance and support to IT teams to ensure security is integrated into all aspects of our organization's systems and processes.
• Communicate security-related information and updates to all levels of the organization, including executives and non-technical staff.
• Act as a subject matter expert and provide training and awareness sessions to educate employees on security best practices.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a security architect or similar role.
• Proven experience in designing and implementing secure systems and networks.
• Strong understanding of security frameworks, such as ISO 27001 and NIST.
• Excellent knowledge of network security, firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and vulnerability management.
• Experience with cloud security, preferably with AWS or Azure.
• Knowledge of security information and event management (SIEM) tools.
• Familiarity with security-related regulations, such as GDPR and HIPAA.
• Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or SANS GIAC are highly desirable.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
