Job Title: Junior UX Designer

Location: New York, New York, United States

Salary: $69 Per hour

About the Role: We are seeking a highly motivated and creative Junior UX Designer to join our dynamic team. As a Junior UX Designer, you will be responsible for assisting in the design and development of user-centric digital products and experiences. You will work closely with our senior designers and cross-functional teams to create intuitive and visually appealing designs that enhance user experience and drive business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with senior designers to understand project requirements and develop design concepts that align with business objectives
• Conduct user research, including user interviews and surveys, to gain insights and inform design decisions
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and mockups to effectively communicate design ideas and concepts
• Use design software and tools to create high-fidelity designs for web and mobile platforms
• Ensure consistency and coherence in design across all platforms and devices
• Conduct usability testing and gather feedback to continuously improve the user experience
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in UX design to continuously enhance skills and knowledge
• Assist in the creation and maintenance of design guidelines and standards
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and marketing, to ensure successful implementation of designs
• Provide support in various design-related tasks, such as image editing and asset creation

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field
• 1-2 years of experience in UX design, preferably in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
• Proficient in design software such as Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, and InVision
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus
• Strong portfolio showcasing previous design projects and processes
• Understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work in a team and independently, with a strong attention to detail
• Passion for creating intuitive and visually appealing designs that enhance user experience
