Job Title: Lead UX Designer

Location: San Francisco, California, United States

Salary: $190000 - $240000

Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead UX Designer to join our dynamic team. As the Lead UX Designer, you will be responsible for leading the design process and creating innovative user experiences for our products. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that our products are user-centric and visually appealing. The ideal candidate will have a strong portfolio showcasing their design expertise, excellent communication skills, and a passion for creating exceptional user experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the end-to-end design process, from research and concept development to wireframes and prototypes, for both web and mobile applications
• Collaborate with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to understand business requirements and user needs
• Conduct user research and gather insights to inform design decisions and validate design solutions
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and visual designs that effectively communicate the user journey and align with the product vision
• Develop and maintain design systems and style guides to ensure consistency and scalability across products
• Conduct usability testing and iterate designs based on feedback to continuously improve the user experience
• Mentor and provide guidance to junior designers, fostering a culture of learning and growth within the design team
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices, and apply them to improve our design processes and deliverables

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a UX Designer, with at least 2 years in a leadership role
• Strong portfolio showcasing your design process and projects, with a focus on user-centered design solutions
• Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, InVision, or Figma
• Experience with user research methodologies and usability testing
• Knowledge of front-end development and coding languages (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to present and justify design decisions to stakeholders
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
• A problem-solver mindset, with the ability to think creatively and strategically to solve complex design challenges
• Passion for creating exceptional user experiences and continuously learning and improving your skills
