Position: Interaction Designer

Location: New York, New York, United States

Salary: $92 Per hour

Overview: We are seeking a skilled Interaction Designer to join our dynamic team. As an Interaction Designer, you will be responsible for creating intuitive and visually appealing user experiences for our products. You will work closely with our cross-functional teams to understand user needs and translate them into innovative design solutions. Our ideal candidate is a creative thinker with a strong understanding of user-centered design principles and a passion for creating seamless interactions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct user research to understand user needs and behaviors.
• Translate user research into design concepts and prototypes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define user requirements and design goals.
• Create wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes to communicate design ideas.
• Develop design systems and design guidelines to ensure consistency across products.
• Conduct usability testing and gather feedback to refine design solutions.
• Keep up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in interaction design.
• Work closely with developers to ensure designs are implemented accurately and efficiently.
• Communicate design decisions and rationale effectively to stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in interaction design or a similar role.
• Strong portfolio showcasing user-centered design solutions.
• Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Sketch, InVision, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Experience with user research methods and usability testing.
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• A keen eye for detail and a passion for delivering high-quality designs.
