Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cloud Security Specialist to join our team. As a Cloud Security Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the security and integrity of our organization's cloud-based systems. You will work closely with our IT and security teams to identify potential vulnerabilities and implement solutions to mitigate risks. Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain security protocols and procedures for our cloud-based systems.
• Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify potential risks and provide recommendations for remediation.
• Monitor and analyze security logs and alerts to detect and respond to security incidents.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement security controls and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and developments in cloud security and make recommendations for improving our security posture.
• Develop and maintain security documentation, including policies, procedures, and guidelines.
• Provide training and support to team members on security best practices and procedures.
• Participate in incident response and lead investigations into security breaches or incidents.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in cloud security, preferably in a large-scale enterprise environment.
• Strong knowledge of cloud security best practices and industry standards, including AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform.
• Experience with security tools such as intrusion detection systems, firewalls, and vulnerability scanners.
• Familiarity with security frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, and PCI DSS.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and make decisions under pressure.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Certifications in cloud security, such as CCSP, CCSK, or AWS Certified Security - Specialty, would be a plus.
