Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced IT Compliance Specialist to join our dynamic and growing team. As the IT Compliance Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring that our organization is compliant with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards related to information technology. You will work closely with our IT and legal teams to develop and implement compliance strategies, policies, and procedures. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of IT compliance principles and possess excellent communication and analytical skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of all applicable laws, regulations, and standards related to IT compliance, such as GDPR, HIPAA, and PCI DSS.
• Collaborate with our IT team to identify potential compliance risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
• Assist in the development and implementation of IT compliance policies, procedures, and controls.
• Conduct regular internal audits to assess compliance with policies and procedures and identify areas for improvement.
• Work with external auditors to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
• Stay updated on changes in regulations and standards and ensure our organization is in compliance with any new requirements.
• Develop and deliver employee training on IT compliance policies and procedures.
• Investigate any compliance issues and provide recommendations for corrective actions.
• Monitor and report on compliance performance metrics to senior management.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT compliance, preferably in a regulated industry.
• Strong knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and standards, and their impact on information technology.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience conducting internal audits and working with external auditors.
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and quality.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Relevant certifications, such as CISA or CRISC, are a plus.
