Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain API documentation for all our products, including API reference guides, tutorials, and troubleshooting guides.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather information and ensure accuracy and completeness of API documentation.
Work closely with the development team to understand the technical details of our APIs and translate them into clear and concise documentation.
Continuously review and update existing API documentation to ensure it is up-to-date, accurate, and user-friendly.
Develop and implement standards and guidelines for API documentation to ensure consistency across all products.
Create and maintain a comprehensive API documentation library for easy access by internal and external stakeholders.
Lead and mentor a team of API Documentation Specialists, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality documentation.
Act as a subject matter expert on API documentation, providing guidance and support to other teams as needed.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Technical Writing, English, Computer Science, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in API documentation, preferably in a software development environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical information into clear and concise documentation.
Strong understanding of APIs and their documentation requirements.
Experience working with API documentation tools, such as Swagger or Postman.
Proficiency in using documentation tools, such as Microsoft Word, Adobe Acrobat, and Confluence.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Previous experience leading a team is preferred.
