Position: Senior AR/VR Developer

Location: New York, New York, United States

Salary: $107 Per hour

About the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior AR/VR Developer to join our dynamic team. As a Senior AR/VR Developer, you will be responsible for creating immersive and interactive experiences using cutting-edge Augmented Reality (AR) and Virtual Reality (VR) technologies. Your role will involve developing, testing, and implementing AR/VR applications for various platforms, including mobile, web, and desktop.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement AR/VR applications, games, and simulations using Unity or Unreal Engine
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop creative solutions and achieve project goals
• Research and experiment with emerging AR/VR technologies to enhance user experience
• Optimize AR/VR applications for performance and compatibility across different devices and platforms
• Troubleshoot and debug technical issues, as well as propose and implement solutions
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in AR/VR technology, and share knowledge with the team
• Mentor and guide junior developers, providing technical guidance and support when needed
• Manage project timelines and deliver high-quality code within deadlines

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in developing AR/VR applications, with at least 2 years in a senior or lead role
• Strong proficiency in Unity or Unreal Engine, and experience with C# or C++ programming languages
• Solid understanding of 3D graphics, physics, and mathematics
• Experience with AR/VR development tools and plugins, such as Vuforia, ARKit, ARCore, Oculus SDK, or SteamVR
• Familiarity with scripting languages, such as JavaScript or Python, is a plus
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a keen eye for detail
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Passion for AR/VR technology and eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and techniques
